ZARA + ALEX

Colourful and Fun Funky City Shoot

2020-09-28. 92 Burton Road-228.jpg

This shoot at 92 Burton Road in Sheffield was all over my vibe. I adore all weddings wherever they may be but I do have a special place in my heart for the urban wedding. There’s just something about the architecture, the lines, the signs, the people…the possibilities are endless.

The shoot was organised by the super talented Saskia from Hair and Make Up by Saskia who of course did all all the hair and make up for the day with a little help from her team. It was Saskia’s first time organising a shoot on her own and she absolutely nailed every element!

Zara wore the most amazing skirt and top from Charlie Brear supplied by Alexandra Anne Bridal…Can we take a minute to appreciate the tassels on that skirt!! This was complimented by a bright mustard jacket from Asos that Alex absolutely rocked!!

Zara brought along 4 of her friends as bridesmaids and I wanted to show people that group shots can be fun and creative! I had so much fun creating these!

All the bridesmaids wore different dresses from Asos in rose and pink tones from that all complimented the other perfectly. The look was finished off with stunning hair bands and bows from Lillie Rose Bespoke and bouquets by Moss Floral Artistry.

Tara Knott styled the venue perfectly with Moss Floral Artistry creating epic Florals. The venue’s crumbling brick walls made for the perfect back drop for this elegant and modern set up. Modular Moods provided a vintage velvet mustard sofa that was placed in front of a mesh backdrop beautifully decorated with beautiful florals by Moss Floral Artistry all in this seasons most on trend colours pinks, mustards and teals.

Tara Knott styled the space with elegant ivory church candles in glass holders that flickered and popped in front of the industrial brick walls of the venue. If all this wasn’t enough Elizabeth James Events adorned the back drop with an awesome neon from her collection making the whole look complete!

Tara created the most beautiful, on trend love table for two. Tara used deep mustard fabrics and pale pinks accessories that popped against the white was walls of the venue. This was complimented by clean, simple crockery from White House Event Crockery and decorated with stationary by the super talented Wild Calligraphy GB and her calligraphy skills. From the ceiling Moss Floral Artistry hung some creative dried floral flower clouds from the beams of the venue creating yet another dimension to the look!

Tara Knott’s talents are endless and she even hand cut and painted different shapes that were joined together to create this pretty backdrop! Contrasting colours from the shoot were used and this was finished off with calligraphy from Wild Calligraphy GB.

Hannah Matilda created this pretty special cake. I just love how modern and different it is! It tasted damn good too!!
